Saxon's Measurements
Hey all!
I've been told he's a couple of pounds over weight for his height, but he doesn't look over weight to me. Here are his numbers:
Age: 9 Months
Neck: 15.5" -- 40cm
Chest: 26.5" -- 68cm
Height: 15" -- 38cm
Weight: 41 lbs -- 18.60kg
A couple of pictures of him:
Just curious if Saxon's measurements seem appropriate for his age.
Thanks!
Christina

Re: Saxon's Measurements
he looks absolutley fine to me, i judge my dogs not on there measurments but on thier condition. Nice tuck up, to be able to easily feel ribs but not see them except for the last one or two. Nice shiney coat no dandruff etc. He looks great! x

Re: Saxon's Measurements
Not the most reliable source, but a woman on the street who claimed to be a Vet Tech stopped to pet him and said he could stand to loose a few pounds.

Bloody cheek!
Unless you want a 'ripped' dog, then I'd say he looks just right! My own preference is for a dog that has a good, healthy coat with bright eyes & an alert expression; I like to be able to feel the ribs but not see them.

He's looks absolutely fine to me, in that case harvey is also overweight for his height and especially his age, but i no he isn't so i wouldn't worry about it
