Could Chloe be helping ?
This morning a friend was on our back garden with Blake who was happily chewing the deck, she is struggling with the whole sign language thing and kept saying NO.. After a few times of her repeating no Chloe went to Blake nudged him in the cheek, and pushed him from the deck.. She then just looked at him and walked off.... He hasn't chewed the deck since.... Does Chloe know he can't hear, and was she helping ??

Well, it certainly sounds like it. I know many would disagree, but I think sometimes dogs can be intuitive in that way.

You know thinking about it now when my boy is playing ruff hes such a big strong lad and my girl is so gentle shes like a mother hen watching him playing with us and if she feels hes being to ruff then she tries her best to get in between and you can tell shes not happy with the situation bless her shes a little angel
So I think we dont give them enough credit and im sure she feels the need to help you with blake shes special too

I think they do help each other and tell each other etc sometimes when we call the dogs in frm the garden vinnie will come but skye stubbonly planks her * on the grass and won't move lol! So vinnie runs out, runs around her and nudges her butt and chases her in lol!

Well I think they just know those sorts of things, Boss I think knows my roomies ancient cat(who he loves) is now deaf because before she would hear the can open, but shes a old girl, if she doesnt know my roomie has put food out for her Boss goes to her and nudges her towards the kitchen.

absolutely agree with you on that Caryll! Dogs understand more than we humans think they do!
Re: Could Chloe be helping ?
