Mastitis

I was discussing with a friend who breeds staffies.
She’s just had a new mum suffer from a chronic mastitis.
Vets say it’s due to feed (kibble) which is too rich.
My friend usually feeds her mums with puppy kibble but she recently gave starter kibble to her older mums to ensure they had enough milk. However, this kibble was too rich for hew new and young mum = mastitis

That's sad to hear, I hope she gets better soon

Removal of two teats and skin graft …
She is getting better though
