My daughter is bringing her 2yr old Pomski to my house at Xmas.Unfortunately,my best boy Nero will not leave him alone, the moment he steps thru the door.Even when there outside,Nero just doesn’t stop chasing and nipping at him. This is causing anxiety with Xmas 2 weeks away, any ideas how I square the circle ?.

Hi Kevin, unless you can arrange regular outdoor meetings before Christmas to get Nero used to having him near I would suggest baby gates to keep them separated! There is no magic fix I'm afraid. It takes time for a dog to accept another in his territory let alone his home.

Yep, I would suggest separation - gates, closed doors etc.

You don't really have time to adjust behaviour before Christmas.
