Sad She's done it again!

Post by Jenc Mon May 04 2020, 20:35

I expect some of you remember me posting about Katy knocking our friend over. She had to take a couple of days off work!
Well today whist we were walking, we were throwing sticks for Katy & Tuesday. Katy again ran into my friend's legs & knocked her to the floor! Surprised  Damaged the same leg as last time! We were well away from any road so whilst my friend limped with a walking stick (branch) I found, I had to rush back home to get my car to rescue her. Not easy when you can't drive in the fields but I got as close as I could. By the time I found her struggling in the last field her knee had really swollen up Sad
Major guilt trip for me, she's not really built to be hit by a Staffordshire bulldozer! I might add, Katy didn't even notice she'd hit anything! Surprised
She went to A&E as her knee was popping out! Now on crutches so looks like I will be walking Tuesday in the morning!

Oh dear, wishing your friend a speedy recovery.
Staffies can be very rough at the best of times, Katy was very clearly enjoying herself.

My friend has been walking her with crutches!! She's stubborn Laughing The swelling is going down slowly & she only needed one crutch today Smile I certainly feel guilty & Katy didn't even notice she'd done anything Rolling Eyes
When we used to run agility Katy used to wipe me out often Laughing Laughing

Must be a staffy thing.
When I’m working obedience recall from a distance, Opium makes sure to bang directly into my legs before sitting next to me when she’s not focused on the exercise Rolling Eyes
