CRICKET
We are fourtunate enough to live in a nice part of Leeds about a 10 minute drive from Ilkley and the Otley Chevin. We usually take Muggle for walks either in the woods behind the house or out on the Chevin. Yesterday however my fiancee Lyn decided to take Muggle to the local park for her evening walk. As I was on a late shift I was not there to witness the events that ensued. Muggle was doing her usual daily routine of greeting every person, dog, rabbit, worm, fly and ant that came within 10 metres of her and chasing her ball around the park like a mad thing when she took a high speed diversion towards the cricket match on the other side of the park. She hurdled many of the 20 odd spectators that were laying on their sun loungers watching the game before individually greeting each of the players in turn by jumping all over them and then stole their ball! She finished her display by running around the pitch several times with the cricket ball in her mouth, obviously very pleased with herself! She gave the ball up without any issue Im pleased to say and luckily the players were ok with it and found it amusing. Many calls of "it's not try outs today love" directed at my other half! There was another bloke walking a staffie in the park who apparently found the whole event hilarious. Part of me is glad I wasn't there to witness the incident but theres another, rather large part of me that wishes I'd seen it!

Oh, what a shame you couldn't get that on video, it would've been an instant youtube hit!
Embarrassing, but so funny!

Hahah great stuff. I lived in Leeds for a year not long ago, a place called Oulton. Loved going for drives to Ilkley.

I also take Lola on a field where cricket is played, but I'm not brave enought to let her off leash for this very reason haha.
