Height of a staffy

Does anyone have the height of their staffy at about 6 months and also the length. Not sure if you use inches but if you do I will convert to cm. Trying to see if baby here is on track as seems very tall and long. Kind of asked similar question before but interested to know how others that have are at this age.

I haven't got measurements at 6 months but Katy is from base of neck to base of tail 53cm, height from shoulder to floor 43cm. She is a big staffy though

This little one seems very tall and long but difficult to measure as she darts when she sees that measuring tape think.she must have been hit or something I've tried to measure her against a wall and she is about 31cms tall which seems tall for that age but I dont know..will still try with length If she is going to end up being a bigger dog cause of being a x or maybe too much for me as I already have the Amstaff who is very big and bulky and two dogs that size will be hectic for me. But I will def try measure her properly and see if anyone else replies with some info. Jodie the older girl from neck.to tail is approx about 53çm and height about 41cm.

The breed standard has a max of 36cm. Staffords (in fact most breeds) tend to grow tall until about a year/18 months & then 'bulk up'.

So really, she seems to be pretty much on track!

But to honest, there are many good, show winning stafford's that are 38cm or so tall.

Do you think so as she is only 6 months old and already about 31cm tall and length I'm not sure prob 30-35cm but will try get a more accurate measurement. I just felt she is really so tall already and my old staffy girl is about 41cm tall and she is not the very short leg ones. So just thought there is only 10cm.difference and if pup keeps growing the way she has what size will she end up being. As to me she is very tall for her age for a staffy. But I maybe wrong.

She LOOKS tall because she hasn't filled out yet! It's very deceptive.

She probably won't grow upwards more than a couple of cm or so, but will 'bulk up' over the next year or so which will make her seem more 'right' if you see what I mean!

5cm is a lot of growth (upwards), but even if she's a cm or so above standard, does it really matter?

Thanks for your input. One is not even 100?% ?sure of her age nor her parents as with rescue you go with what people tell you kind of. But she definitely had a rough start as can see by her skittishness when she first came and her obsession with food.
