Mosquitoes - help !!

We’re invaded by them here. They start flying around once you turn all the lights off
I’m allergic to their bites too so it’s a particularly big problem for me.
I have blue UV tube insect traps but mosquitoes aren’t overly attracted.
I’ve been researching on mosquito plugs that are supposed to be dog-safe but they remain chemical.

Aside mosquito nets which are just not possible, does anyone have any ideas or further information for effective mosquito solutions ?

Oh blimey I react badly to mosquito bites too. not had problem of swarms of them tbh so wouldnt have much idea but I always use Avon skin so soft for my skin its ok for dogs too but guessing you want something in the air so to speak to deter them.

I know they dont like Lavender if you have any you could hang around the room

Don't they suggest citronella to deter mozzies? Also eat lots of Marmite as apparently they don't like the taste in your blood

I’m really concerned about using anything volatile because of a dog’s acute scent, unless I'm exaggerating ?

I think they will be ok with citronella Nifty & they'd love to help with the marmite I'm sure

I’m not necessarily a hater but I would not eat the stuff on a regular basis

Citronella candles and you can have some in the garden as well you get ones that stick in the dirt
