Dog expert!!

Out on our afternoon walk yesterday we bump into this chap we see often as he takes children on woodland adventures from the local school. He always says hello & tries to keep the kids out of our way as we pass by. He knows Katy is wary of them but 2 tried to stroke her when she didn't want it so she hid behind me, he did tell them never to approach a dog without asking the owner. I thought great he is up on dogs Smile

Then, he asked me what breed Katy was, Staff I say. What is she crossed with? Her muzzle is too long for a staffy! I said she is all staffy, no she's not he said, I'm a dog expert! She must be from the Irish line, I said there isn't any other staffies, no Irish or long legged! I really couldn't be bothered wasting my breath, but it bugged me for the rest of our walk angry

Expert in how to deal with kids around dogs maybe but identifying breeds clearly isn’t his strong point.
Sounds like he’s mxing up staffies with JRT vs Parson JRT lineages rolling on the floor
