How well...
How well do you know your Staffy?
For example, I know that Flo will take every opportunity to snaffle my cushions if I dare leave them at all
Also, if I get in late Flo will ask to go outside, now, my garden is a scary place for a Staffy so I wait outside with her till she does her no.2 then she rushes to get indoors yet I can see she hasn't done a no.1 so she circles me to go back indoors, I motion to her to do no.1 and off she goes & does it. It's a ritual, so i know to send her again.
Am I alone in this behaviour or are all Staffies like this?

Re: How well...
Ah yes, I am also experiencing very similar behaviour here.
If OH or I go outside via the kitchen door, exchanging slippers for “garden shoes”, you can be sure that Nifty will take at least one slipper into the lounge with her - just for it to be in the same room as her.
Garden is a scary place which needs supervision for number 1 but then again, could also be because she gets a biscuit on delivery (from when she was a poo-eating pup to distract away for me to pick up directly).

Re: How well...
Not sure if it’s an exclusively staffy speciality but when Nifty joins us on the couch in the evening, she will always make sure that she’s leaning against you or, even better, has a paw on you to prevent you leaving without her being aware

Not alone at all. Lexi didnt like the dark (unless she knew she needed no2..then you would be looking for her cause she would have to find the absolute best place in the yard...and maybe find a bit of cat food or a dead rat in the process, once she found a hedgehog) so no1 was a literal lift her as far away from the door as you could stand to, usually the decorative pebbles, she would pee immediately then bolt for the door as if her arse was stung. Yet for daddy, she would go on little nighttime strolls! Wee witch didnt love me at all.
The other thing i fondly remember is that she only ever loved one toy, a plastic "builders" tray thing. When she was a pup it was a full tray...by the time she got too old to play it was just a mere corner approx 6" wide, but she always knew where it was, and still threw it about and barked at it. Literally the only thing she ever played with...100s of pounds spent on toys and she chose a flippin tray that she found on the yard. She only ever barked at two things, her tray..and men at the back "unused" gate. Only men :p

Re: How well...
They are odd aren't they, Flo will stare at the OH of an evening waiting for her to vacate Flo's corner of the sofa having spent the rest of the evening snuggled up as tight as a tick to me

Re: How well...
Gus won’t come back into the house after a walk until he has been given a treat.
