Looking for contributors!

Hi all,

My name is Ben Collier and I'm a filmmaker currently completing a Masters degree in Documentary Filmmaking at UCL. Over the winter period I am going to be working on a short reportage documentary about the concept of "Dangerous Dogs" and why the ideas many people have about certain dog breeds might be misguided. I am looking for any Staffie owners who live in London and who would be willing to volunteer around an hour of their time to talk to me about their experience owning/ training their dog + comment on the public perception people have of this particular breed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can also assure that this film will not be published publicly and will only be seen within my postgraduate department.

Hi Ben, is it pure bred Staffs or also crosses you are intrested in?

Would the dogs have to attend the interview or just the owners?

Hi Emma,

Either pure bred or crosses would be great! Ideally I would like to film with both dog and owner simply because it will be more visually interesting - this would also ideally be at home but a local rec or park would also work

I'm a bit too far away I think, otherwise would be happy to support you.

Have you contact DDA Watch? If not, it's worth doing so, I'm sure they'd be happy to try and find people to help you
