New pup
I was looking at buying this pup, it is advertised as a staff x boxer but doing my research I have seen these can be mistaken for pit bulls. Mum and Dad are still with the pups and they’re brought up in a family with children. Does anybody have any idea on whether you think pup may have pit bull in him

Re: New pup
Pit bull isn't really a breed here, it's more a type. And yes, from experience you can have staffie x boxers that can look like pit bulls, as you can with staffie x labs.
'can' is the operative word. With crossbreed pups you just don't know sometimes what they'll look like! If you end up with something slimmer, leggier but with less of a squished face, you could (maybe) have something that fits the pitbull type.
I would say that it's probably a question of weighing up how you feel about the risk. In high population areas the risk is greater than in a quiet country village. The risk is greater if you would be walking in parks than if you would be on quiet footpaths.
Not wanting to put you off but I should say that the process if you do have your dog seized is pretty awful in the UK. You are absolutely right to be giving this full consideration before deciding.

I'd agree with Liz. I've seen a few staff x boxers & then can look like pitbull 'type'.
It all comes down to how much risk there would be in your area of being reported, and how much risk you're prepared to take.
