Re: ANNEKE
Wow, that's one huge long jump !
I do find her a little underweight but then again, mine is only 5 months old and already 12kgs

Re: ANNEKE
Sorry to disagree, but calling it a sporting dog doesn't mean it's ok to have all the bones showing. I'm afraid I'd put your dog at condition score 2-3, which is very underweight.
It's like in the horse world where fat ponies win prized for looking cuddly, they're still fat. And that's like breeding dogs with noses so flat they can't breathe, etc. Our perception of what looks good to win prizes isn't always what's good for the dog.
Sorry to be negative but I find it sad to keep a dog so underweight I can clearly see the spine.

I agree with Liz, How prominent her spine is unsettling to me.

Re: ANNEKE
I do find it a shame that she looks nothing like the drawing on the shield.
I've had a look at your previous posts including lots of videos of your canine sports. They are certainly very different to the agility and flyball that we know over here. I'd be guessing that in order to jump higher or longer, you want the dog to be carrying the least amount of "unnecessary weight" which is why they basically look like skin on muscle and bones.
In the horse world, I know of a very similar problem with the endurance horses, skin on bones to carry the least possible extra weight over the distance. However, compare them to racehorses which need to be as fast as possible, race horses usually score much better on condition.
Whilst I can understand the theory behind having your dog in such a condition, I am very saddened that in your canine sporting circles, you find this condition in any way acceptable in practice
