Re: DNA test?
I'm mulling over this too - I want to know if their Pit Bull Exemption Certification has any value beyond that of the paper. Will dig into it...

Re: DNA test?
I've looked into this a fair bit and have come to the conclusion that, for me, they're not worth the money. The one above claims a pit bull exemption certificate - that's just a con. There is no certificate that will have any weight in court as the law is based on looks, not breed. So that gets me cross and I might even report it as false advertising.
The nail in the coffin, though, was meeting someone who had had her dog DNA tested and it clearly missed something major. This dog is rescue, supposed to be a choccy lab x Irish wolfhound, that my friend got when he was only about 4 months old (she's his 3rd home!). When I first saw him you could see the lab but the wolfhound sounded odd. Anyway, she got him tested and the results said lab, greyhound, something else short haired, no wolfhound. I met him on Friday - this guy has clearly got wolfhound in him. He's huge at 7 months old and has a coat texture that you'd expect of a lab x wolfhound - coarse and scruffy, bristly around the muzzle with the sweetest spurts of hair between his eyes. But no longer/coarser haired breed came up in the DNA test.
So that's a fail for me and I'll spend my money on treats instead!
