Hi Harley has been on raw for the last 6 months or so we have been using nutriment which has been great but is working out more expensive than we thought.
I've done some research and found a local company that is a lot more cost effective. I am debating whether to give them ago there meats come as mince 80% with 10% offal and 10% bone.
just wondering is this the correct ratio and would I have to add anything extra to his meals? his nutriment includes 15% fruit and veg so I am confused.

I think I gave up trying to work out percentages. There are so many different theories about how much bone, how much offal, and as to whether dogs even digest veg that it's almost impossible to know what's true. Personally, I would just give some bits of fruit and veg from time to time and not worry too much if it's x % or not.

the ratios are correct if you follow a Prey Model diet; the PM diet doesn't include veg as they're not strictly necessary for a dog to be healthy. if you do want to give vegetable, go ahead & give raw veg as training treats - but bear in mind that dogs can only digest vegetables (and fruit) if it's pulped as their digestive system can't digest the cellulose.

To be quite honest if it were me,I wouldn't worry to much about the fruit and veg, because it has no benefit to the canine what so ever.
When feeding raw if you get the meat, bone, and offal % right you should be fine.
