Feel like crying having a food nightmare
I don't know where to start, I am so confused as to what to do now. My 8 month old puppy is completely intolerant to any form of kibble. He has had gastritis and been really ill. He only has to eat four kibble pieces and has projectile vomit for the rest of the day. I have tried every kibble imaginable from JW sensitive to Eden, none stay down him.
I have tried him on wet pouches (wainrights) but no, terrible diarrhoea. He seems to be ok on the raw, so want to keep going with that, the vet says this digests easily in his tummy, but beef and tripe are a bit rich for him.
Right, next, Daisy who is 10 can't eat certain raws as she throws them back up within about 20 seconds, the whole lot. Chicken is out, Turkey is out, tripe she seems to keep down.
I am currently feeding the natures menu raw block food as it is easier to tell whats what and I was wondering if the fish one would be good for sensitive bellies. I am kinda cracking up and losing the plot a bit, if it's not sick it's diarrhoea and I feel so guilty not being able to do the simplist thing as to feed my dog food.
I don't really want to keep Daisy on kibble as the pup will always manage to find the odd bit here or there which then makes him ill so it would be nice they are on the same.
Any advice would be well and truly appreciated, I have even been tempted to feed Chappie meat as I have heard this is good for bellies. Help!!!!

Re: Feel like crying having a food nightmare
So sorry to hear this! It's such a worry when they can't keep their food down. If you are already feeding Natures Menu have you tried their tins? I give misty their Country Hunter tins as they are grain free. They have recently expanded their Country Hunter range now and they have some great flavours, Misty eats anything but this brand is the only one that hasn't upset her tummy and she hasn't got bored of.
Good luck x

the natures menu is around £2.50 per tin mias 13 as a treat she gets this at christmas but also loves the venison country hunter treats I only gave mia a tin but I guess it depends on how much your dog normally eats but the tins are huge .
