Daily routines

Interested to know, what are your daily routine with your dogs (if you have them?) on a general week day. It's nice to get some other ideas/see what others do with their dogs.

Ours is generally -
7am OH gets up for work, Bug comes up to bed for morning snugs for half an hour.
8am breakfast/bathroom break in the garden.
9am Bug usually goes back to sleep for a while.
10am 1.5 hour walk on the moors or in the fields
11.30am Bug chills on the sofa or in the garden while I get ready for work/have lunch
1.30pm I go to work, Bug sleeps for the afternoon
5.30pm OH comes home, plays with Bug/lets her into the garden or round the block if it's not too busy with dogs
6pm dinner (+ scrounging while we cook!!)
7pm chills in the lounge while we eat/clear up
8pm play/training and chilling on the sofa
10.30pm sleep on the sofa while we go to bed

6-45 -7.00am depending when mia looks at me after poking her head out the duvet
between 7.30 and 8 mias been walked fresh breakfast been put out and her water dish replenished.
during this time ill give mia a treat or 2 and we do, giving me paws rolling overs I check her ears give them a clean
after this mia does as she pleases she sleeps quite a lot due to her age .
I always monitor her food, even tho there arent set times anymore as mia helps herself rather than her starve I just give her a set amount each day and stick to that amount I do the same with treats. mia tells me when my pot has boiled for dinner she knows not to go near the cooker. she seems to prefer my plate to her own dinner .
night time mia likes lie right across my bed and I cling to the edge and she takes my covers too god bless her wee staffy socks

Our routine changes at the weekend slightly but generally it's as follows:-

OH gets up and let's Flo in to the garden at about 7:15
Flo bypasses her breakfast on her way straight up two flights of stairs to snuggle with me.
7:40 I get up to shower etc & Flo takes herself downstairs to eat.
7:55 she is back asleep on the sofa
11:00 I come home from work and give her a short walk just to stretch her legs
16:30 is dinner time, without fail
Anytime after 18:00 is Big walk time when we go over Flo's big park
The rest of the evening is generally sofa snuggle time with one of us.

We're a mix, weekends can be different but the weekday routine is:
5.30 to 6, I wake up or Una tells me to wake up with big sighs
6-7, first breaky, play in house and I make packed lunches and get ready
7-8.30 1 hr walking time (Una is reactive so I usually drive to a non pavement place to meet her friend)
8.30-9 second breaky, I get ready, Una gets brushy, brushy (it's okay to be touched) time, final pee. training and go-find-its  as I head out the door to work at a friend's place
9-1pm sleepy time
1pm - 5pm snoozying, chewing, chilling
5-8pm there's a 1hr walk and some training, then dinnertime
8pm - sleepy couch time
11pm - bedtime with bedtime biscuit

I love how much time we all devote to our 4-legged family members !

Weekday typical routine is:
5.30am wakes on our bed & gets up with me, lays outside bathroom door while I shower & get ready for work
6am makes way to lounge & lays in front of fire if cold
7-8am OH takes him for a walk/run off-lead at the SECURE park
8-9am scavenges in kitchen for OH brekky (loves marmalade on toast, peanut butter, cold meat, cheese!) then heads outside for his brekky & fresh water
9am-4pm play time/chill time/2-3 sessions with the boomer ball/lay in OH office/goes for a shorter walk
4pm staggers out to lounge and lays in front of fire
7pm mauls me at the door when I get home from work and shoves his ball/rubber toys/rope toys into the back of my legs repeatedly until I give in put my bag down & play with him
8pm lays at base of kitchen island or dining table and hopes our entire dinner plate falls on the floor in front of him
9.30pm off to bed with me

Weekends vary considerably as we are out & about and take him out with us as much as possible - pub, in-laws, park, picnic, shops etc. as well as a big walk in the morning and a big walk in the arvo, many play sessions and boomer ball shenanigans !

Love spending as much time with him as I can since I'm away from home 13 hours a day Mon-Fri, glad OH works from home !!!
