What size kennel?

Koda has successfully eaten his outdoor kennel and i want to get him another one. His current one is too large and is wooden.

I'm thinking this time plastic, insulated, smaller but I'm not sure what size, 'medium' is grabbing my attention which appears to be on average 1m L x 75cm w x 75cm h.

It gets very cold here during Winter (day average will sit around 15c) & he can be home alone all day at times with early morning temps often just a few degrees. Appreciate hearing what you use &/or recommend, thanks!

plastic and a wee bit padding or a duvet would be ideal I reckon tho dunno if the duvet will be complete when u get home

I'm not sure a rufty tufty Staffy would be seen in any of those kennels in that link

Will you be able to see how he fits in different size kennels Bek or is it mail order ?

That's the thing Ian, I could take him in store to test it for size BUT last time I took him to the pet store he pee'd on a $1200 fish tank, fought with another dog (despite both being on lead - nothing like a good lunge unexpectedly !) and ripped open a $34 bag of kangaroo jerky I had to buy !!! I can't imagine getting him to the store and convincing him to hop into one, he'd be soooooo wired/on alert. I've just taken his measurements then added what I've read is a suitable number to get the 'correct' size, if I get it delivered and not happy I'll swap for another size - fingers crossed !!!
