Learnt something new at dog training
Thought some people may find this little bit of info interesting that I picked up at training this week.
They were saying if you have a male dog (and I also think females do this as well, as I had a very dominant female bulldog who did it) and he scent marks every couple of minutes when walking round your local area. You should stop them from doing it. Only let them have the wee to relieve themselves. He said that if your dog is walking round and scenting everywhere, saying "this is mine, this is mine etc" and you have another male dog that has done the same, then if they meet in the street they could come to blows.
I actually thought, yeah that makes real sense. My bulldog used to do this and she was a moobag. Lots of you may already know this and I am only passing this on incase it is of any interest to others, but I thought it makes a lot of sense.
