btw: if you use a Mac ..
some links on that site come up as 'suspicious' ..
prompting a page that sais .. in essence 'don't restart or shut down the computer'
however i've reset 'safari' .. then shut down the computer .. started up again with no problem .. my virus / malware app. shows 'no problems' after a scan

no .. not posh :-)

it wouldn't even play the blu-ray disc my neighbour lent me ( i.e. the film 'Interstellar' ) ..
hence .. searched for it online ..

only heard about the film when listening to 'classic fm'
and some of the soundtrack was playing ..

.. 'chose' Macs .. as at the time .. 1991 ..
they were The platform for desktop publishing ..
tried a windows pc once .. had me frustrated within five minutes .. so stuck with macs ever since ..

I heard about the Hawkin thing today too but how are they going to get people on to those tiny craft

I've seen interstellar but if I remember correctly it confused me

i watched that before Interstellar"
had heard of it .. 'n kept seeing the dvd at the supermarket checkout ..
was enjoyable .. but too predictable for my taste ..
i.e. was more or less obvious from the start that
hollywood hero would be rescued from his predicament ..
set props were a bit glossy as well ..
i.e. a bit too perfect
though nice panoramic views of red desert

'Interstellar' .. to me .. was less predictable ..
and somewhat grittier ..
thought the pilot wasn't going to make it out alive

maybe some things were learn't :-)

I have to admit that I wasn't sure about the Martian but my OH Had read the book and said it was good. I did enjoy it though the OH said the book was better.
