Skateboards, Rollerblades and scooters
So I've just about got his lordship used to scooters (huffs and staring, but no barking or hiding) but the two times I saw skateboards he's gone absolutely crazy. He chases after them barking furiously. Both times I've managed to get him back pretty quickly but as they appear so suddenly it's not like I can anticipate them and pop him on the lead.
This morning we were walking along with my Dad in the park and this guy rollerblades past us really fast, using what looked like Ski sticks to push himself along. Before I could grab him, Giz is off into the distance barking wildly. Guy put his sticks out to motion Giz away and stopped until I managed to call Gizmo back to me.
FOUR fricking times we passed this guy, on different circuits in the park in about an hour. The first time he ran over but came back pretty quickly, second time there was a squirrel that distracted him but the last two times I spotted him before Gizmo did, whipped out a massive chunk of liver and did 'watch me' until the guy was out of sight.
Is this a thing people do in parks nowadays, or was that guy a one off?
I told a few people with dogs about him so they'd know to keep an eye out.

Probably the latest craze Trouble is if they come up behind the dogs they will freak out or in Gizmo's case chase them. I think Katy would chase too!!

Re: Skateboards, Rollerblades and scooters
We have all sorts doing odd things in Flo's big park. The latest craze is Nordic walking and group military style training. Now we do keep Flo in check with the big groups but there are a smaller group of Uni types that have music going whilst they do their stuff and Flo just has to get in the middle and watch
Have to admit though, that they & us find it hilarious
