Theres nothing like...
Coming home to your own dog!
Today I went to visit a friend I hadn't seen for quite a while, last year she got a new puppy (a staffie cross border collie) called Amber. Since she was a tiny puppy she has loved to chew on people, when she was tiny it wasn't a problem as it didn't hurt much but now she's 7 months old and has adult teeth- omg it's so painful! From the moment I arrived till the moment I left I was her personal human chew toy, she is a lovely dog when she's calmed a bit but she only stays calm for a little while before the biting starts again! My hands are covered in scratches
When I got home I was greeted by my gorgeous Milo, I gave him cuddles to say hi and for a few seconds I was on defence waiting for the biting to begin; that's when I remembered 'oh yeah my dog doesn't do that!'
As I lay there on the couch with him getting kissies and cuddles I was honestly in bliss, I realized how much I take my amazing dog for granted, and I was just so proud of him!
We finished off the day with a great training session and now he's fast asleep at my feet, I love my little man the world
Sorry for the sappy post!

Re: Theres nothing like...
Have to admit im the bossy kind of person who don't give a hoot about who i would offend if i correct a dog. I have worked in kennels long enough to know its me or them lol
That is a gorgeous face though, and i bet you were glad to be home for snuggles!

Can completely relate! Im away at the moment on course so haven't seen Rio for over a week, saw some friends who have a staffy last night, not only did I realise how big Rio is compared to the typical staffy but just how much I miss him nothing beats being with your own furball
