Before we make it a sticky I would love to see it get some feedback and perhaps a suggestion for a suitable topic name

Re: watch this...
I can definitely see the meaning behind the video, the dogs are gorgeous and parts of the video are great.
My only concern is the body language of the blue at the start towards the other dogs? Later we realised that the dogs lived together but the start of the video made me feel really on edge!! The opinions of the local dog trainer won't be for everyone, there is a fair amount of graphic language about aggression also which may be a problems for some.
Anybody else got any thoughts?

Re: watch this...
Great video why don't we have a "save a staffie" section where we can post videos to share and petitions etc?

Re: watch this...
The body language didn't bother me, Rach. Probably because I see that and worse every day of the week! To me it was just 'oh come on, please play!'.
I guess I feel the video's a bit preaching to the converted here, but getting as many people as possible to share and continue sharing through here's a great idea. Is it on our FB page yet?

I think possibly to people used to staffie play/how rough it is it's probably okay, but maybe the target audience may not? I'm unsure? I showed my friend and he thought she was about to attack her, but he does keep labs..

Re: watch this...
Or just people who are used to dogs living together with that type of interaction. Nola joins in and sometimes initiates games just the same way, but I agree that to those who aren't used to seeing dogs trying to start play with another and who aren't used to looking at body language, it could look aggressive.

Re: watch this...
aw loved this video, id hate to imagine if they banned staffies would be tragic i feel sorry a lot for the staffies in shelters as they get overlooked but the woman in the video her staffies were well trained she recognised one of her dogs faults which to me was a positive thanks for shaing stu great video.

Re: watch this...
Loved the video and didn't think it showed aggression by the blue staff. Tyler and Stella often started their play time with nose butting etc and was a sign of 'please play with me'. Very similar.
The trainer that was speaking did seem to go on about aggression a bit too much and can see that as slightly worrying to people who don't understand staffies

Re: watch this...
Knowing staffs, the blue was being very polite and asking for play. I can 100% see where you are coming from though. Staffs don't ask for play the same way normal dogs do lol Lexi will just run over to billy and basically start mouthing his neck and legs. It used to freak him out until he realized what she was doing!

Re: watch this...
I couldn't see any signs of aggression at alI and I thought the trainer put too much emphasise on aggression too.
They were all beautiful dogs and it's heartbreaking to think of the huge number of staffs without the loving families that they deserve, largely to do with the bad press that they get. It's so unfair to such big hearted dogs.
I think a special section for "Save the Staffies" is a great idea!

Re: watch this...
I really enjoyed that video. The bit at the beginning where that staff is nudging the other staffy is exactly what Milo does to other dogs to get them to chase him. If he can find a toy or a bit of rag he will do it with that in his mouth to encourage a tug of war especially with my daughters Cockerpoo Jazz. No aggression with it at all - never has been but i can fully understand a strange dog getting a bit frightened or overwhelmed by it and also its owner thinking its aggression. Beautiful dogs though and I love em all lol
