What is their favorite TOY..
Roxy is surrounded by many toys, balls, ropes, socks, kongs in her toy box, which she goes into when she wants to play with you. BUT she just loves her Food Bowl and she will walk & run around the house holding her bowl tightly in her mouth. She takes her bowl outside to the loo, upstairs to the bedroom, onto the sofa, Roxy gets up in the morning, takes the bowl out with her from her crate and doesn't let go til we leave the house. She comes back from doggy day care, goes for her bowl, and when she goes to bed at night she takes her food bowl into the crate.
It just seems to give her so much comfort - its really funny to watch.
When a visitor comes in, she runs to greet them, then runs for her bowl and with it tightly in her mouth, does her best attempt at kissing / licking the person with the bowl is attached to her jaws...
Anyone with strange favorite toys?

Re: What is their favorite TOY..
Sweet - Milo has an old ball that contained a rattle. He managed to kill the rattle thing that left a hole in the ball which I now stuff with cat biscuits for him to roll round the room to get them out. He loves that the most. If its dry outside I will let him loose with his Boomer Ball which is also a great favourite of his.

Not a weird one but Boomer Ball BY FAR !! Obsessed with it and literally begs us to get it every time we step outside (it's in the garage), has it multiple times a day and barks non-stop at it and will literally play with it til he drops.
Food bowl, interesting choice !

Re: What is their favorite TOY..
Chaos's favourite has to be Boomer Ball as well. The only problem with it is that he is completely obsessed (sound familiar, Bek?), to the point of hyperventilating. He is rationned!
Millie's faviourites are babble ball and whistly ball. If you put the two down she goes from one to the other, unable to decide. Ideally she'd have a bigger mouth to pick them both up. Whistly ball probably has the slight edge. She'll tuck herself up under the duvet and go to sleep with it still in her mouth.

Third vote for the Boomer Ball. Misty goes mad for hers but we ration it too. We actually have to hide it in a cupboard downstairs and only bring it out when we are taking it to the garden or to my mum's house.
She loves her cuddly toys, there's always some poor toys innards displayed proudly over the house. I bought her a lovely elephant baby's toy the other day, before I knew it there was a leg left over by the tv. It's funny as she always looks so proud when she rips into something! Im not surprised now when I turn over in bed and feel some type of cuddly half chewed toy in the bed next me!
She loves a good chew so stag bars and Tasty Bones are high on the list. Plus she has a buffalo horn she absoutely loves, she has had that for months and always goes back to it. Sometimes I blend some bananas or strawberries and stuff them inside it and freeze it. Result happy and quiet doggy!

Re: What is their favorite TOY..
Dizzy has a box full of toys most of which are hard chew toys or bones (soft or squeaky toys usually last about 20 mins max, even Kong squeakies lol) which he loves to choose one carefully each evening and chew on for about an hour or so before coming up for his cuddle/snuggle with me on the sofa
But what makes me laugh is that whenever myself or any of the family, friends and guests come home/arrive, even first thing in the morning when we get up, he goes and gets a shoe out from under the stairs and walks around with it in his gob wagging his tail like mad and looking really pleased with himself and so happy to see us He doesn't try and chew them, just has to have one in his mouth to greet people with
We often have to play 'hunt the shoe' when only one of a pair can be found in the shoe cupboard lol!

4th vote for boomer ball, Katy has 1 in the garden that she will seek out the minute she's out there, also rationed due to overexertion, panting, barking & severe washing of said boomer!!!! Nanny bought her a new 1 for Christmas which lives indoors (very loud)

It must be so funny seeing Roxy with her food bowl as a comforter Adele. My Flo has two toys that really gets her going, her rope toys and her Stix which she simply cannot resist but oddly only outside

Re: What is their favorite TOY..
After reading this I think I might invest in a boomer ball- they seee to be a firm favourite with staffies!
Adele, instead of buying Roxy new toys just buy her a bunch of bowls to play with Roxy is such a cutie!
For Christmas I bought Milo loads of new toys, one was a tennis ball on a thin rope type thing, first time playing with it he ripped the ball off the rope and decided the rope was the best toy he had He was running around the house with this really thin rope trying to get people to chase him- it was so funny!
His other favourite is even weirder! Did you ever see those minion toys they had in the Mc Donalds happy meal? Milo has a weird obsession with them! He found one on our walk on 2 separate occasions and once he picks them up he refuses to put them down. One he carried for at least half an hour until we got home and then he tried to chew on it (I had to take it off him then due to the electric part inside)
I'll include a picture of him with it:

Re: What is their favorite TOY..
Maverick also loves his boomer ball, the garden is too boggy so occasionally I lift everything out the kitchen and he goes mad in there! Be warned ear plugs are needed!
Where currently on the search for good toys though, he loves soft toy's yet loves it more when he rips them open and starts pulling out the stuffing, this would be fine yet he eats the stuffing so we are currently being mean owners and taking them off him, and the same with anything plasticy he is eating the broken bits .
Things that live that he likes is rain deer antler and nylabone.
