Adult Genitalia Empty Adult Genitalia

Lovely topic.
Aimed more towards those who have had their bitches spayed before first season and after first season.
My oldest girl Cassie was spayed after a season so as they do when in season they swell up and once finished the swelling goes down but their genitalia never goes back to puppy size.
My Blondy was spayed before her first season and she never got chance to develop, she has almost like a pouch around her genitals and folds of skin that im having to Vaseline and clean all the time or she'll end up with a UTI.
Very frustrating, does anyone elses bitch have this?

i've never spayed a bitch, but i've heard of it happening. it can be quite a problem for a bitch.

Misty was spayed after her second season and her lady bits went down a lot after she had it done.

I've seen this with unspayed bitches as well. I'll confess it's not something I've really looked into, so I don't know the causes but I'm not sure that spaying is the cause.

i read that if the bitch is spayed before her first season she won't mature properly & her lady bits stay small. then they can't cope properly with the amount of (adult) urine production & it can cause problems; urine burn etc.

thats what i'm dealing with GillyBrent, urine burns and UTI's before i really knew what was going on but once i checked her and noticed a few years ago and now keep her Vaseline(d) its not so bad no more UTI's a little staining around the opening just got to keep on top of it.
