Its about time! how long have we "domesticated" the dog and been part of their lives.

Re: Lessons
Its about time children were taught how to approach dogs. Mind you when they were on the floor with their heads down, Katy would of dug them out or gone underneath them to get them to play!!

Re: Lessons
Should be taught at infant school. The amount of times youngsters have tried to stroke Flo without asking first amazes me. I was taught to always ask first by my parents, surely this is really their job ! But any education is good.

Re: Lessons
About time! kids are so defiant though. I was minding my cousins little girl once and my other cousin came with her new puppy. Cousin A's dog (a yorkie) started going mad and i put him in the kitchen and closed the door. He was still barking and going mental and my "niece" said she was going to go and pet him to stop him barking cause he was upset and i said no don't go to him he might bite you or he might attack the puppy, she said she was going to anyway i again told her no. She started walking to the door and i had to get my voice you can only use for family on lol she ran up to her room in a huff, but she had all her fingers!

Re: Lessons
Believe it or not I still have to tell my mum off for just approaching other people's dogs and stroking them without asking
This is definitely needed!
