Cut tongue Empty Cut tongue

Post by AussieStaff Sun Jan 10 2016, 00:31

Took Koda to the local oval for a big play sesh with his boomer ball, unfortunately he was a bit (lot) too over enthusiastic and cut his tongue! Tongues Looked far worse than it seems as he has a white head and the blood made it's way all over, washed it all out then & there with clean water I'd taken with me but it bled for quite some time before stopping. Just wondered if there is anything else I should do or will it just heal in time ? Gave me bit of a fright initially as he just turned around with a splodgy pink face !! Surprised PS Must be the day for it, I managed to kick the shopping trolley and cut my toe, enough blood to freak me out, now it's bruising + stiff + swelling Crying or Very sad

If it's stopped bleeding then just leave it be, it'll heal by itself.

As for you... I know a guy that has a spare walking stick Laughing

Tongues bleed stupidly, but they heal very quickly.

Beware shopping trolleys, evil things.

Oh no - poor Koda -those boomer balls are great but they can be a bit savage too. Milo gouges big jagged bits into his and he's made his lips sore but never cut his tongue - YET !

Hope your toe gets better soon too Bek. It hurts so much when you do that and you just HAVE to swear (I know I do anyways).

I'm sitting here feeling sorry for myself too as I've done something to my knee. Can't bend it, struggle to walk downstairs have to hop. Ventured out for a little walk and threw ball for Milo but twisted it again and the pain - OMG ! Drs this week & I hate going to the Docs

Those boomers do bite back, Katy has gouged marks in hers but not cut herself yet. But she has cut her tongue on a stick, yes looks like lots of blood due to mixing with saliva Surprised But same as Koda, Katy's white face & chest didn't look good splattered with blood Wink
Be careful with shopping trolleys too Bek, also known to bite Big Grin
