Podge! Empty Podge!

Post by Rachel33 Sat Jan 09 2016, 15:09

I didn't want to admit it, but Bug has gotten rather chubby this winter Surprised Surprised

I thought that she was looking a little round.. y'know, couldn't see any ribs.. but she got absolutely lagged in mud on our walk today so I stuck her in the bath and I could barely lift her Laughing Think somebody may need to go on a diet!

I wonder if it's age related also? We haven't done anything different this year, as opposed to previous, but she is middle aged now I suppose!

It could well be an age thing. Flo has put on a half to one kg I n the last few months but she is getting a few more treats so will be cutting back on those this year.

Nola gets much less to eat than she used to, less than Millie does and she's nearly double her size. So yes, probably an age thing.

Ahhh, just had her weighed.... 20kg :O that's 2kg in 6 months, and that's with weight lost in the last few weeks too.. Definitely going to lower her food. Just seems like she's barely eating anything. My vet mentioned a "senior" or lower protein diet but I'm not sure she should be classed as a senior just yet.. She's still as active as ever.
