Tye, 10yr old blue boy needs lots of TLC
Tye was signed over from a home where his needs were not being met. He was being left for long periods and was unhappy. His skin is in poor condition, his back is almost bald, but after tests for various nasties he's been passed by the vet and his condition is probably due to stress. He's also overweight.
Tye LOVES being with people, and he can get quite excited when he's been left for a while and then someone comes in. He can also be quite vocal when trying to get your attention, especially to play! We feel he will settle when in a home where he is not left, so we are looking for someone who is at home most of the time for him. He'd also like a home with lots of toys, please...
Because he loves attention, he is very responsive to training - yes, you can teach an old dog new tricks!
He is used to living with children, but not dogs or cats.

Re: Tye, 10yr old blue boy needs lots of TLC
I went to see Tye in his foster home today to do some new shots. What a wonderful chilled gent he is! No barking when I rang on the doorbell but a lovely calm greeting instead. He's great with his fosterers' kids and is loved by all who meet him.
Tye's hair hasn't really grown back much and he is still receiving treatment, so he does look a bit bald on his back. Ok, so very bald! But his personality so outweighs that and his age, I do hope someone spots this gem soon.

Absolutely brilliant news! Tye has been adopted by a lovely family with a special needs child. A special dog for a special kid, what could be better?
