Re: Pet insurance
I used PetPlan, i think it's one of those a touch more expensive ones, but to be honest i heard more then enough from couple of friends and their insurance companies, the hassle, absolute ages on the phone etc and i thought it's not worth it, i got a 2 months free and first payment not due until january so happy Give them a call and maybe get a quote

Re: Pet insurance
I'm with Animal Friends. I was with Pet Plan for a few years, I never had to make a claim, but they were very easy to contact/always helpful. Unfortunately they kept raising my premium each year to the point that it was almost £50 a month! For a healthy staffie that I've never claimed for, it seemed extortionate! So I left, I pay £12.50 a month now, again, have never claimed but Animal Friend's also seem helpful and also donate to animal shelters regularly

Re: Pet insurance
Research each insurance company and find what works best for you and to suit your budget its a bit of a headache but worth it in the long run specially if u need to claim for whatever reason.

Re: Pet insurance
I use John Lewis pet insurance and pay £24 a month to have Rio insured for £7500 a year, this includes any long term conditions he may develop, and so he'd still be insured for the next year with the condition
