Autumn
Anybody else struggling to get their little bundle of joy into the garden for wee's? Bug gives me daggers and then stands by the door peering in. 5 minutes later and 6 chorus' of " go for a wee biscy" and she MIGHT go, or even pretend to go by squatting and running back to the door immediately, before weeing on the kitchen floor at 3am.
Never in the spring/summer, but we go through this every autumn/winter. Coat just makes her freeze up, don't think she likes the cold/wet on her feet. So bloody frustrating!

Re: Autumn
Katy is ok with the cold but if its raining I have to push her out & stand blocking her return until she's been As for coats, I got her a new one this autumn as she's outgrown the last & the minute I pick it up, she's under the table refusing to come out

Re: Autumn
Flo is fine with the cold but hates the rain. I stand at the back door with my sternest voice and tell her to go... Works in the end though I do think she does the same as bug and squats, pretends & runs back in

I'm not as trusting Ian, I go out with a torch so I can see if Katy goes-Ian- wrote:Flo is fine with the cold but hates the rain. I stand at the back door with my sternest voice and tell her to go... Works in the end though I do think she does the same as bug and squats, pretends & runs back in

Re: Autumn
Oh the bliss of having a hay barn! If it's too cruddy they rush from the back door to the barn. Having said that, just a sniff of a rat anywhere and Chaos couldn't care if there was a hailstorm.

Re: Autumn
I think I've figured it out. If I carry her across the gravel to the grass she will go not sure why as the grass is quite long and wet, but still. At least it's not my floor!

Re: Autumn
Lexi is afraid of the dark ever since her accident and if you put her out for last pee she won't leave the door step until you walk out with her. She would sit there for hours literally (i tried it once on a really warm night. She never moved away from the light.)

Re: Autumn
haha! Spike has looked at like 'REALLY'?? when i've ordered him into the garden..He will even refuse a proper walk in the morning if it's foggy or damp..Once he's out though he gradually gets into it..I just carry him up the road for a bit...I live literally opposite a park, so i'll walk up the road to get him in the mood....I'm hoping he'll grow out of it though!
