How's the renovations going ?

Slow and steady. I'm about done with the house so just the garage, yard and shed to go. I laid the grass yesterday after I replaced the pipes for the irrigation system so just busy watering and hoping to the grass to take root

I fly to Seattle on the 16th and leave for Japan the next day at 6AM which means I have to be at the airport at 2AM. On the bright side I get a weekend with the OH and Suki before starting work. I'll be on the road again less than a month later though.

Indeed, manual labor all day and paperwork at night. Suki and the OH are both doing fine without me and honestly used to me being gone. Suki does go ballistic when I get back from a trip though and is clingy for a few days.
