my mum told me about this today. also, apparently you have to watch out for garden matting because it sometimes contains cocoa fronds or something?

devastating.

Yup read this today too... It's not just dogs that can be affected either.

I've heard of the cocoa fronds also, it's really an eye opener to what can be dangerous without being obvious.

speaking of which, Gizmo chewed up an acorn around 08:30 this morning. I don't think he actually swallowed any but he did suddenly drool around 09:30 and he seems fine now, but I looked on the list of dog poisons and it's on there. He's 20 Kg so I'm thinking he'll be fine.

He's NEVER done that before, we've passed hundreds of acorns and he's never even looked at the blooming things, today he starts crunching one up like it's apple.

I'm sure he'll be fine and hopefully learn from the bad experience

He didn't learn from a bag of cumin seeds, so...
