what is the hedgehog doing in the second video is he cleaning himself

it's called anointing it's where they come across a new smell and they lick and bite at it, and then they spread it over there spines, so that they sort of learn what this 'new thing' is

he has already tried very gently mind, but it made dyson jump so i don't think he will be doing it again
