Hi guy,
Arlo is about 6 months old now and everything is going really well. His training is great but there is a couple of things that I'm finding hard to fix.
When we are off lead anywhere, if he sees a stranger quite often he'll run up to say hello quite intensely and then just bark at them for a few seconds. I know it's just a friendly hello but it comes across as quite aggressive and it's really hard to deal with!! Please help!

Maybe try a long lead when out with people around? My pup is only 5 months and I still get a few looks if he goes to say hello, so I've always kept him on a long lead unless I'm somewhere where it's quiet Smile sure I'll get better advice

He's still young and learning so this behaviour isn't unusual. As other have said, use a long line so that you can control meetings with strangers and other dogs. If you can lead him in slowly and he behaves I.E. Not barking or going loopy, reward with a treat and plenty of fuss.

You'll get there... Honest Big Grin
