Food has me Confused !!
Hi All,
I have been the vets today with Levi My 14 week old Staffy for his first needles ( He has to go back in 2 weeks for his second ones ) And i am very proud because Levi is a very healthy puppy i just wasn't happy with the food i was feeding him on which was Bakers so asked for advice on the recommended food. I have now come home supplied with Hills Science Plan Medium Puppy Starter Pack to try Levi on but i do not know if i mix the dry food with the tinned food and if so how much . Any Advice would be Greatly Appreciated
Thanks
PS AM SO GLAD I FOUND THIS WEBSITE AS I AM NEW TO HAVING A PUPPY SO IT IS HELPING ME A LOT !!

We mix wet and dry. If you want wet and dry read how much wet and halve it then add half the dry that's recommended to start with. As long as he's putting on weight then you should just about have it right.

I used to use Hills Science Diet, was 1/3C mixed with 1/2 small can of tuna and he loves it, still has that now but larger sizes and Eukanaba instead of Hills. Welcome to the forum!!!

Re: Food has me Confused !!
I used hills on my pup as it was advised by my vet, but I was told on the forum that wainwrights dry food is also very good and much cheaper so I tried it and my pup clears his bowl every time not sure about how much to use mixing as I've only ever fed him dry welcome to the forum

Re: Food has me Confused !!
We got hit with the Hills Science plan sales pitch by the vets too! Sneaky buggers!
We only fed the biscuits so can't help on how to mix it, but if you are thinking of swapping to something else, there are much better foods out there and a lot cheaper
