Well...

Bug and Barney's first meet went really well! They're meeting up again on Saturday, and if all is well he will be coming for a sleepover next week!

How bloody handsome is he? They look so gorgeous together..

Ah that's fantastic news Rachel! He looks absolutely gorgeous. Even their names match, they could have their own tv detective show, Bug and Barney, fighting crime wherever they go. Really hope Saturday goes well

Second meet went fabulously! They very happily bumbled along together for an hour and had a few sniffs/shared a drink from the river. Sat a waited at the end and Bug gave him a few kisses, which he happily accepted. Bug loves to play mama and he's such a big baby, got a good feeling about this pair. Sleepover on Thursday!

He's certainly going to need some training, he's had no consistency (ours will be his 7th home!!) and the last owner acquired him by seeing him in a garden and saying "that's a nice dog" to which the owner replied "you can have him." He then took him to be PTS after 2 weeks due to no rescues having space for him, and him being too hyper. He is clean in house and okay being left, but does mouth a fair amount and just isn't aware of any boundaries. He gets quite concerned if people argue or he feels he's going to be "told off" (head goes down, looks very unhappy) but he's friendly, both food/toy oriented, willing to please and low prey drive/not reactive so a good walking buddy for Bug!

That's fantastic news! So happy they are getting on so well and its great news hes passing The Bug Test. Six previous homes in his young life

Thank you all! Martyn seems smitten though he would never admit it. The "no more dogs" rule didn't last very long.. Haven't got any photo's today and was focusing on them both, but will hopefully get some on Thursday providing they're settled enough I really hope we can help him!
