i am so confuse!!!!
hi everyone, i am so confuse about how much to feed my 4 month staffy puppy, he is about 9 kg, and i was feed him holistic select puppy food, the feeding guide says to feed 270g per day. But now i changed to wellness core( better ingredient), and the feeding guide says to feed about 600g per day... i know different puppy food have different feeding guide, but this is just too much different. People says the better food the less u need to feed, but wellness the way more expensive than holistic and wellness core is the most expensive i can get in Australia...
Can someone figure it out or is there anyone using wellness core to help me?

Always best to feed by the guidelines and adjust based on the pups growth and health

At that age they are growing so if he is hungry let him eat. If you notice he is getting chubby cut back on the food.

Re: i am so confuse!!!!
From the guidelines on that webpage I'd say maybe you've got your maths wrong.
It says
This food contains 3,792 kcal per kilogram (379/100g) or 417 kcal per cup ME (metabolizable energy) on an as fed basis (calculated).
For your weight and age of dog it says 2.75 cups
2.75 cups is 2.75 * 417 = 1146 cals
1146 cals is 1146 / 379 = 302g
So that's 302g, not 600g.
My boy is adult but weights about twice that and eats approx. 240g of kibble per day, so for an active puppy 302g sounds right.
Upshot is, though, keep an eye on his weight and adjust his food accordingly. Don't go solely from the guidelines.
EDIT: After re-checking that web page it's not you who has got your maths wrong, it's the product details that are wrong. It does say that a cup is 8oz, which if you use that as a guideline does product the figure of around 600g, which is 2274 cals! That's roughly what I eat and I weigh ten times that and walk 8 miles a day!!
I'll leave the above calculations but those guidelines are contradictory so what I'd advise is to figure it out by keeping an eye on your dog's weight and feeding as appropriate.
