Spike, staffie x rottie - RSPCA Danaher, Essex
Spike came in a little while ago with his friend, Wholf, who is another rottie x. Although they get on well together, it was decided to split them as they can both be reactive towards other dogs and together are quite a handful. Spike isn't too bad and is improving now he's in our group training sessions, and will no doubt be able to make more progress if training is continued in a new home.
Spike is 6 years young, and is as much fun and as energetic as a young dog. And, of course, he cuddles, but then being half staffie that goes without saying!
If you're interested in Spike, please contact the Danaher centre or complete his adoption form:

Re: Spike, staffie x rottie - RSPCA Danaher, Essex
Spike was returned not long after he was rehomed. Apparently he barked at strangers when they came to the house.
So ignoring that brief period away, Spike is now one of our longest stay dogs. He's being so good in kennels, coping incredibly well, but he really does deserve better.

can't believe he got returned. They rehomed (1/2 of a) guarding breed and they're complaining about barking?! Really wish he wasn't reactive. Still in love with that face!
