Water Bowls
If we are over the park Flo simply won't drink out of a bowl another dog has used. This goes for bowls at pubs etc so we have been using a water bottle and filling up an old take away plastic tray which is fine
Now my OH has just bought a swish fabric water bowl that you can empty and tuck in to a bag easily but will she drink out of it !!! Nope
Does anyone else have such a fussy Staffy ?

Re: Water Bowls
I was at a job the other day with Katy running round the garden. She got hot so my customer offered her a drink which she ignored Even though they own a dog. She wouldn't drink until we got in the car & she had her own bowl & water

Re: Water Bowls
Buddy is just as fussy wont drink out of any other bowl than one we have in the garden. Not even the one we have inside next to his crate - wont pee or do number twos anywhere but the back garden and woe betide you if you try and give him a treat in the morning before he has had his kong just turns his nose up and walks away wont come or anything until you sort his kong out then he is fine has to have his kong fix !... stroppy little thing..

Re: Water Bowls
buddy is being a total nightmare - has decided since Saturday that he doesn't like his metal bowl - sits and growls at it and hits it refuses to eat out of it - so gave him a china bowl same as the one he drinks from in the garden - nope wont go near it - tip the food out on the floor and he eats it as if there is no problem at all .. he is pushing the boundaries a little too far now... a couple of days going hungry where I pick his food up if he wont might sort the little b*****r out!

Re: Water Bowls
Knox was never fussy about bowls really but we just used to take a large bottle of water with us that had the sports bottle style thingy on the top and he just used to suckle out of that like a hammy

Oh thats funny! Koda will drink out of anything! Has a ceramic bowl at home, take a silicone collapsable out with us, drinks from park taps, ceramic at Nanas and plastic takeaway container from local fish&chip shop, even in Winter not just on our 45c Summer days!

Re: Water Bowls
We've accidentally taught Axl to drink out of a pint glass ... he hardly ever drinks out of his water bowl but he will drink out of any dirty stinky puddle on the floor though!
