Burying...
Bug seems to be going through a phase or burying any raw chews/bones that we give to her and then digging them up and eating them a few days later! I doubt that she would eat it if she thought it was going to hurt her - but it's a pain in the butt when she drags it back through the house covered in mud and worms and chews it on the floor! Of course - better surveillance is required - but do any of yours do this?

Re: Burying...
Katy has buried bones in the garden but if you ask her where it is she will dig it back up again She tends to bury them in her bed or in the sofa instead

Re: Burying...
Suki would if we had a proper yard. Now she just buries bones in the couch, bed, or under the rug

Re: Burying...
Bane never buries anything either! But Domino does! Anything that he thinks is a treat and/or bigger than his regular biscuits, he will bury. Then eat a few days/week later....he often has a very smelly butt afterwards tho :/

Re: Burying...
My grandma's dog used to do this if he was allowed out into the garden with a rawhide bone. He only spent winters down here in London, and he'd somehow remember in November where he'd buried it from February.

Re: Burying...
I have a toddlers paddling pool filled with dirt for T to bury his stuff.
He was always burying it behined the sofa but now no bones allowed in the home.
I love how they learn to bury stuff when puppies . a huge chicken leg with a tiny bit of paper over it hehe
