Pet insurance?
I'm getting a staffy pup in 3 weeks, what insurance does everyone use? Is the cheapest usually a bad option?

Re: Pet insurance?
Not necessarily but it would pay to shop around and look at various packages available. I pay for premium and haven't used it in the 18 mths I've had my boy, but I like to know we have full cover if anything should happen.

We use More Than. I don't think they're the cheapest, especially as your dog gets older the premiums seem to go up very quickly. We stick with them as they offer life cover and have always been very good to deal with. We've claimed thousands over the years and never had anything even questioned.

I use animal friends - £12.57 a month and have heard brilliant reviews when needing to claim.

Re: Pet insurance?
We use Animal Friends too. We paid £160 for the year and had to make one claim for a split pad. No problems with the pay out. Whichever company you choose make sure you get all of life cover.
I'm pleased you posted this as it's reminded me that Theia's is due to run out in a few weeks.

We use John Lewis for about £16 a month, covers us for £7500 a year and life cover, haven't had to use them yet

We use Argos too. They were fab in the first year when we had to claim quite a bit but our premium has gone up since then and they wouldn't even consider negotiating. As above, make sure it's life cover
