blue brindle puuppy

hello everyone, our names are Chelsea and Stephen, and we own a beautiful blue brindle 9 month old puppy named Theo, he is a lazy little boy that constantly seeks attention and cuddle we took him on at 4 weeks old as him mum rejected him and as he was so young we had to bottle feed him a treat him like a real baby now he is a healthy big boy that is a true mummy's boy here are some pictures from the day we got him to now..

What a gorgeous bundle of fun Theo looks. Just be aware that although no fault of his or yours, being away from mum so early might lead to some socialising issues so if you have or can, get him to puppy classes or try and socialise him as much as possible whilst still young.

hello thank you, we do take him for walks and try getting him to socialise with other dogs only problem is he is just to interested in people. and you are more than welcome to use the pictures

Ah yeah, they are very human orientated. Do try and socialise with other dogs as much as possible, it'll pay off big time going forward

we are trying he just not that interested when we visit my mum he is constantly playing with the dogs there non stop. just a quick question d you have any tips on how to get him to start playing with toys ect he just stares at them I have even tried putting it in my mouth to play with him but he just lets goo and lets me have it..

Hmm.. What toys do you play with ? Rope toys are always a fave with Staffs

we tried rope he played tug of war with other dogs but when it come to playing at home he will lay there and shred it and when we try to play with him he just lets go and lets us have it then will just walk away, he sleeps majority of the day he sleeps has his funny 5 minuets chasing his tail then will come to us for cuddles then go to sleep again.

He's still young so has loads to learn. In a way leaving it for you is a good thing and you could reinforce that behaviour. My Flo will shred her rope toys and play tug but if she isn't interested we snaffle it away and hide it behind us, she goes mad looking for it and then wants to play big time
