Mastic....

Is the bane of my life, I hate the stuff.

I've been redoing the family bathroom and put up a new shower screen. All went great with that along with the new wooden bath panel but today it was Mastic day.

Thought I'd be clever and put masking tape down to give nice clean lines... Big mistake big mess. Now I've got to let it dry and redo the flippin lot. What a waste of a Bank Holiday Monday

I know mine was all over the place as well had to get the blade out and scrape it off and the house stank for days, never again.

I know what you mean Col. Some of it is ok but most will have to come off and be redone. I know what I did wrong, I didn't get the masking tape off quick enough

All the white is done, have a small line of clear to do this morning and then will need to test it tomorrow to ensure no leaks.

New beading for the floor needs doing today and then we are just about done, just in time for my eldest to return from Uni
