Three dog friendly pubs all within spitting distance of Brockwell Park, Brixton, for any city dwellers:

The Commercial - right opposite the entrance to Herne Hill mainline station and 2 minutes walk from the Lido entrance to the park or the main Herne Hill entrance. Good food too, though a bit pricey. Small garden space at the back.

The Prince Regent - again, right by the Lido entrance to the park. Good food here as well. Seats out the front get busy when the sun is out. Both the Regent and the Commercial sell Aspalls cider on draught - excellent summer drinking after a trot round the park!

The Elm Park Tavern, Elm Park - little bit further away but still only about 5-6 minutes walk from the Tesco/Cressingham Gardens entrance. No kitchen but do pies and sausage rolls at the weekend. Dog treats in a jar on the bar.
