Circumnavigating Empty Circumnavigating

Does anyone else's staffie do this? If you're sitting down, Chaos will come and walk round you, so via the back of the sofa, your lap, whatever else happens to be in the way, whipping you with his tail as he goes. He does it if you sit on any chair in the living room or on the edge of the bed.

One of the staffies in the kennels does it too. When I was sitting taking her photos, she just wanted to go round and round me.

I've never had another dog do it, just these two staffies.

Circumnavigating's just what we call it, by the way. Seems to describe it perfectly to us.

Flo does it on walks when we have her Stix in our hands and will then walk backwards in front of us so as to stop us walking and throw the thing. Not so much in the house though i dont know

Never noticed, so will keep a eye out. Pixee can get under our feet at home, on walks when she wants attention. She does walk around the sofa come to think of it, but stops short to do a pee boo at us from the corners, which tend to set us off laughing.

You wouldn't need to keep an eye out, you'd notice it. Round and round, trampling on any parts of your anatomy that get under paw. There's been many a human yelp, I can tell you!

I'll try and get it on video, it is funny (apart from the yelping bits).

Yeah, Theia likes to climb up, goes round the back of your head then jumps down again. And like you say, if any tender parts are in her way, tough.
