cutaneous hemangioma
Does anybody have any experience with these? We think that Bug has one on her tummy - she's in for surgery next week to remove and biopsy

Re: cutaneous hemangioma
Thank you! From my research they can be benign or cancerous, but both look the same so best to have removed or biopsied. It looks different to her last tumour, I guess we will just have to wait and see! She's in at 9am next Thursday x

Re: cutaneous hemangioma
Thanks Crystal! Feeling a little teary/emotional but I'm sure it will all be fine. She's beaten it before, she can do it again fingers crossed it's benign! Lots of TLC after her surgery.

Re: cutaneous hemangioma
Hey! Thank you all. Sod's law she drank some dirty puddle water yesterday and an unspeakable amount of sheep poo (we did try to stop her of course, but she's a crafty minx!!) and has an upset tummy! Stank the bloody tent out and had to get up with her 4 times in the night to let her out into the field! Motions are back to normal today and she's been starved this morning, small chicken and rice meal this afternoon and she seems back to normal playing and sunbathing! So I'm going to go ahead with the op, 2 week wait otherwise and it's getting bigger as the days go by! What do you all think? Right decision?

Re: cutaneous hemangioma
Pre op done! She's in at 9. Love my vets so much, they asked me a questionnaire with questions including; does your dog eat out of a plastic or metal bowl, does your dog like to sleep next to heat sources (does she want a heat mat?), what sorts of blankets does she usually sleep on, does she only pee on grass or on concrete? The vet nurses love her, she's going to be spoilt rotten!
