Meet Texas

Recently adopted Texas from a bad situation, shes a little bit of a skinny minnie...no more than 5 months old, 11kgs in weight and not any muscle yet. She's in her emergency foster placement until Tuesday and then i take her on. I work with dogs, and know my way around them but never had one of my own before. So im very excited and a little nervous at the same time

Thanks guys. Considering all she's been through Tex seems fairly well rounded. I see a little socialisation issue where she doesn't know how to tell other dogs she's had enough of their play, so she snaps and snarls. But our gentle Labrador, Rory, should be able to show her the more polite way and she'll learn soon enough with the right socialisation I hope.

She's a very happy little pup it's hard to tell she's been knocked about, until she hears raised voices. And she has a couple of scars like look like cigarette burns. Staffies bounce back though so hopefully she's young enough to overcome her previous traumas

Some people are cruel beyond belief wee sweetheart.
