Going, going, gone
I thought my time working with rescue dogs was over - WRONG!
Yvonne has a soft spot and we took this girl in from another rescue.
Her name is Tilly and when she arrived with us she was painfully thin with a background story of being abused and maybe used as a breeding bitch.
She is approx 6 years old, not very big but thankfully now putting on a bit of weight.
She took to me staight away, good thing really as I will be walking her alot. We started off with some gentle exersise around the two fields behind us as I didn't want to tire her too much because she was so thin. I just knew right from the start she could be trusted and most of our walks have been off lead. Initially she would not leave my side but as she has gained weight and strength she is getting a little bolder and now runs around usually within a short distance of me. Recall is very good and we are working on sit, stay and wait. As we move into Spring we shall go and try out the beech and a few longer walks.
As per the title of this message - a little explanation.
Yvonne took her to one of our local rescues who we are friends with to introduce her to some other dogs and see how she was with them. Quite what Yvonne did with my poor baby girl I shall never know but the following pictures explain themselves I think.

Re: Going, going, gone
I have a load more photos of Tilly but I am in a battle with my ISP at the moment because I cannot access my Photobucket and even the logo on this forum does not show.
I will put together another post with more pictures and try to document our progress.
In the mean time if anyone is interested in Tilly then contact me on this forum and I will pass on your details to Yvonne.

Tilly looks gorgeous. Seems like she had a blast to have fallen asleep like that. Hopefully someone will see her and offer her that furever home. Great work Simon
