Re: Wake up call
When is her last call at night? Just try taking her the latest you can before go to sleep. I take pups between 12-2am but if I miss I sometimes get a wake up call at 4:30am!! But usually she will just wail till morning it's much better since she's on raw food.

Re: Wake up call
It's probably about the amount of sleep she's having the previous evening. We don't let ours sleep after her evening meal until about 9pm. She can doze or chill but no deep sleep. Most well exercised dogs will sleep/ chill for 15 or 16 hours per day. It's up to you when these hours are.
On another note Vicky, if you fill in your profile we'll know more about your dogs age and sex and we'll be able to give more specific advice when needed.

Re: Wake up call
Stella, she is walked for an hour and 10 at around 7:30 (as soon as it's light out basically) and then when I get in from work (varies usually 5ish but can me lunch time or a bit later that 5) for another hour. Weird as it sounds I don't mind her waking me up coz usually I let her out straight away and she she goes as soon as she is out the door but it's more the attention seeking if I go back up to bed she won't she will just bark. Which I try to ignore but at 5am that's hard my neighbours are elderly x

Re: Wake up call
I have 3am wake up calls religiously and I cant snap him out of it. he does his business straight away then comes back to bed. he cant help it if he needs a wee right? I feel bad for telling him to get to bed and wait till morning. Vicky im in the same boat as you and its hard but my body clock has adjusted now so it doesn't bother m e as much as it used to. All I can suggest is walking him as late as possible and then ignoring him when he whines to get up. it will take consistence and persistence but you'll get there.
